Folsom Lake Multisport was founded on the belief that athletes participate in multisport and endurance events to challenge and improve their physical fitness limits.  Our training solutions are designed to encourage the physiological and psychological changes that are required to reach new levels of athletic performance.  More than just a series of workouts, our training solutions employ the concepts of zone training and periodization to facilitate the adaptations that will allow you to reach your goals.  By focusing on the six pillars of endurance sport performance (coordination, flexibility, strength, endurance, speed and nutrition), our athletes are able to train smarter, race faster, and become more mindful and self-aware along the journey.

METHODOLOGY
The Folsom Lake Multisport process begins with your free initial consultation.  During your meeting with our coach, your current fitness level, current training and nutritional habits, racing history, medical history, time constraints, and ultimate goal(s) will be discussed.  At the conclusion of your consultation, our coach will present a "big picture" training solution for your individual needs, and will describe the Folsom Lake Multisport services and products that are most appropriate for your situation.

For athletes choosing to use our performance coaching package, the Folsom Lake Multisport process continues by establishing your current level of performance through a series of field tests.  Our field tests are also designed to assess the fundamental areas in which your capabilities can be improved.  Once we've established your ultimate goals and current abilities, we can design your customized yearly training plan and embark upon your training journey.  Throughout the course of your Folsom Lake Multisport experience, weekly training schedules, analysis, athlete monitoring and nutritional recommendations will be provided.  In addition, your training efforts may be supplemented with discounted personal coaching sessions and biomechanic video analysis.  As a Folsom Lake Multisport athlete, you will also have unlimited access to our coach via phone or email.

For athletes choosing to continue on their own path, Folsom Lake Multisport offers personal coaching sessions, technique instruction and biomechanic video analysis that can be used to complement your efforts at any time.
